As one of the most prestigious food, wine and beer awards in Australia, the RQWA is dedicated to unearthing the nation’s top food, beer and wine products year after year. Our Mount Barker Riesling has held its ground against counterparts around Australia to win Gold receiving a score of 96 points. Equal top Gold at the 2023 awards. We were overjoyed to be awarded joint top Gold for the 2022 Estate Riesling in the 2023 Royal QLD Wine Awards in 2023. The Estate Riesling 2022 appears in the glass as very pale straw wine with green tinges. The nose is classic Great Southern Riesling with lime, talc and a perfumed floral lift. Powerful lemon and lime intensity with racy acidity and a quenching slatey finish.  With an aging potential of 10-15 years, we cannot wait to see what else this wine will do.

Following on from the success in at the Royal Queensland Wine Awards, our 2022 Estate Riesling received an outstanding score of 96, and named Top Gold at the National Cool Climate Wine Show in 2023. This latest medal joins a line up of awards for the 2022 Estate Riesling and its very pale straw colour with green tinges. The nose is classic Great Southern Riesling with lime, talc and a perfumed floral lift . Powerful lemon and lime intensity with racy acidity and a quenching slatey finish.
