We are excited to announce that Castelli Estate has won a Double Gold medal at the 39th San Francisco International Wine Competition.
Since its introduction in 1980, the San Francisco International Wine Competition has set the standard for professional wine judging. Now in its 39th year, the SFIWC is one of the world’s longest-running international wine competitions and the largest international wine competition in the United States, attracting over 4,600 entries in 2019. SFIWC medallions have become reliable indicators of wine excellence across the globe.
DOUBLE GOLD – Castelli Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
The Double Gold designation is awarded to the very few entries that receive unanimous Gold medal ratings from their judges. These wines are among the finest in the world.
The Castelli Estate Cabernet Sauvignon received the Double gold medal for the third time in a row, for 3 consecutive vintages.
The results were announced back in December 2019, but we celebrated twice as the actual medals arrived in Perth last week.
